Palitao. It is a Filipino dessert. Palitao is from the Filipino Root word "litaw" need to show, or to float. they call it Palitao because if it cooked already, it floats in the water.


here are the Ingredients

procedure:

  1. in 1/4 kilo of glutenous rice, add atleast 1 1/2 glass of water. mix it then leave it over night. then it will now called the "galapong"
  2. make a rice patties using the galapong. just make a balls as big as gamble then flat it.
  3. boil 1liter of water in a caselore, then put in the rice patties in boilng water. the patties will floats if they are cooked already, then set aside
  4. in a frying pan, heat the sesame then until it become brownish.
  5. back to rice patties, add the shaved coconut on top of rice patties, add sugar then sesame, and there you have it..your palitao..
